The Red Storm track & field team was back in full force at the third-annual Bill Ward Invitational hosted by St. John's at St. Anthony's High School in South Huntington, N.Y.

The track & field season officially got underway with the Red Storm throwers competing in the Manhattan Multi-Event over the weekend.

St. John's head track & field coach Jim Hurt has released the schedule for the 2012-13 indoor and outdoor seasons, which includes 29 possible meets across 14 states.

The 2012 cross country season came to a close as a shorthanded Red Storm squad battled to a 12th-place finish at the ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park.

The 2012 cross country season comes to an end when St. John's hits the course at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx for the ECAC Championships on Sat., Nov. 17.

St. John's cross country placed 33rd at the NCAA Northeast Regionals held at a snow-covered Hammonasset State Park in Madison, Conn.
