The BIG EAST Conference office announced on Wednesday that St. John’s sophomore Nyla Woods has been named the BIG EAST Women’s Field Athlete of the Week. Woods earns the first weekly honor of her career after taking first place in the weight throw at the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston, Mass., over the weekend.
