The St. John’s track & field team opened up their indoor season in successful fashion on Thursday evening as the Red Storm won a total of 10 events, including 27 top-three finishes at the seventh annual Bill Ward Invitational at St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, N.Y. The Bill Ward Invitational is named after the legendary former St. John’s track & field coach and serves as the Red Storm’s lone home indoor meet this season.
